I’ve been messing about with words.
In The Language Lab Project i borrow famous words or text off the internet and translate them into foreign languages. When that text is re-translated back into english it goes all wrong and weird. I repeat this process a lot of times and then edit all my favorite wrongest bits together to make a new mis-translation of the original text. I’ve tried nursery rhymes, fairy tales, pop songs and political speeches. here’s a few video clips of some of my experiments. some audiences i’ve tried these out on have laughed at every word, the audience on these clips were more bemused, bless em. I had a language show in plymouth on saturday and it went really well, after i swore a bit and got a few things wrong

Great stuff!
Have you played with translation party (http://translationparty.com/tp/)? Does something similar but keeps going until you end up with your original phrase (which can take ages!)
Also any plans for Beach Break Live?!
